2024 Wrap up

To those who have been with me on this writing journey from the very beginning, and to those who joined somewhere along the way, thank you. Your support, encouragement, and presence mean more than I can say.

Wishing each of you peace, happiness, and inspiration as we close out this year and step into the next.

Blessings to you all.

What a year 2024 turned out to be! It was exhilarating; packed with milestones on both the personal and professional fronts. I spent a great deal of time this year learning new skills and new techniques, both on the business and writing fronts. On the writing side, I published three books—yes, three! I was invited to headline an anthology (publication next year – more to come) I shared stories and insights on countless podcasts and radio shows, tackled more panels than I can count, and even signed autographs at the iconic San Diego Comic-Con (not to mention a few other incredible conventions). I had the privilege of hanging out with some truly inspiring writers, and to top it all off, 2024 smashed all my previous sales records!

So what’s in store for 2025?!

I’ve started writing the next book in the Adventures in Captain Jac series. The outline for book 2 is complete, the outline for book 3 is mostly done, and I’m targeting mid-year for publication. This is an extremely aggressive timeline for me, but hey! It’s good to have big goals.

I’m also looking at creating more books like Booking the Library, and Charisma +1, but deciding on which topics to tackle … well, it’s what’s known as a blue-sky problem. There’s so many options, I don’t know what to do first. (If you have any suggestions on how-to books you’d like to see, please, email me!)

Where will I be in 2025? Not sure yet. My writing journey has been full of side quests that take me in unexpected and delightful directions. As they happen, I look forward to sharing them with you.

I hope 2025 brings joy, prosperity, and happiness to us all.

See you in the new year!
